Adam Reed is a Structural Engineer and Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) Team Leader for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) contracts. With more than 20 years of experience, Reed is responsible for facility condition assessments in the subject areas of structure, building envelope, interiors, site/grounds and accessibility. He also reviews structural engineering and architectural plans, conducts structural engineering investigations, assists clients with project scope development and creates building design standards. Prior to joining PSFEI in 2010, Reed was employed by RTKL Associates in Baltimore and worked as a contract design engineer. During his PSFEI career, Reed has performed hundreds of design reviews and facility condition assessments. He has also participated as a design engineer for General Services Administration (GSA) and Department of Defense (DOD) projects that required threat protection design. Reed holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
